“STUDENTS WHO SHAPE THE FUTURE”

Dear Community Partner,

Los Angeles is commonly known as the homeless capital of America, with over 51,000 homeless persons sleeping on the streets on a given night; over 4,000 being homeless youth. YoungINC.LA would like your help in spreading aid and relief for the youth (what we've done for the youth) and displaced (how our students have assisted community members who have experienced displacement)

“WE ASK YOU TO BE A PART OF THIS STORY IN MAKING CHANGE”

To extend this valuable assistance to our neighbors, YoungINC.LA is hosting it's first fundraiser “HALLOWEEN DO-OVER/STAND-UP COMEDY EVENT” for the STUDENTdirect Charitable Foundation to raise money and awareness for the foundation's official volunteer program Initiating Community Action. All monetary donations will be used on the youth initiative as well as the displaced initiative. For YoungINC.LA, this is a great way to support the community.

“HALLOWEEN DO-OVER”

December 5th, 2014

7:00PM

2012 Colorado Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90042

Executives from YoungINC.LA will reference throughout the event on the value of Initiating Community Action—what it is and how it can help the youth and the displaced. (past events) Handouts will be available. Refreshments and live music and stand-up comedy will create a comfortable, fun atmosphere.

We cordially invite you to sponsor this event at the GOLD level. Please see the attached sponsorship outline for more information. We are seeking donations of refreshments and of decorations, and you are welcome to offer the participants gift certificates to your store. Donations to cover our costs in holding the event and printing materials are also encouraged as well as any monetary contributions.

In the past, programs of the STUDENTdirect Charitable Foundation have been quite successful. I have included a press release of the first event we produced. It was a Haunted House event hosted by Eagle Rock High School Senior Class of 2013. The students presented with a business plan (included) of which they followed and learned to be responsible, accountable, transparent and organized.

We will gratefully accept and visibly recognize all sponsors. Your company’s name will appear in all advertising for the event and on posters and handouts given at the event itself, dependent on your sponsorship level. (here's an example of how you can be recognized, note that this story will be in local newspapers and shared amongst a variety of media outlets) May we count on you to help us? If so, please contact Derrick Gary, our event organizer,  at your earliest convenience at 404-319-9345 or at Studios@mySTUDENTdirect.com.

“Help us help these students make the proper change.
Help us initiate community action.”

Sincerely,
