If you have played Skyrim, you will recognize the name. In history, there is a rich tradition and culture behind the inns, taverns, pubs, or public houses. For travelers, they served as brief respites from the road. For the communities, they functioned as public forums, town squares. Within one you would find more than just a mere drink. You would find companionship and community. You could join in the discussions and debates of the ideas of the day. Eat a warm meal and sleep in a warm bed.

  With the Sleeping Giant, my aim is to reintroduce this pillar of community to LA. In the future, establish others all across California. I want this brand to grow into a movement where others are inspired to start their own all across these United States and even all over the world.

  The Sleeping Giant is a place where we can start rebuilding our neighborhood communities again. It will be the first pub that publishes a newspaper and broadcast video and radio. It's a place where we can come together, discuss, and debate the ideas of the day. A place for families, friends, or travelers can come eat, rest, drink, and enjoy fellowship together after a long hard day's work. Play games of all sorts, rent a room, forge lasting, close, intimate relationships. I pray that you will join me in this great undertaking. The Inn is coming.
