Ramon Barajas III is an advocate for world change through community development utilizing both traditional and nontraditional methods.
Ramon Barajas III is known as a Next Generation Leader, Entrepreneur, Educator, Innovator, Philanthropist, Multi-Artist, and Humanitarian. At the age of 25, was the youngest Latino candidate for United States Congress to fight to represent the next generation. Born in Los Angeles, CA to immigrant parents, he identifies with the youth, the working class, the progressive community and believes in giving a voice to those that need to be heard.
Since his youth, Ramon had a passion for the arts and eventually developed an important awareness for education in the arts as part of the building blocks of a young child's education and life. For this reason, at the age of 18, he became one of the youngest philanthropists to invest in the next generation in the areas of education, arts, technology, media, and leadership by donating $100,000 to several organizations.
In 2008 his career began in the entertainment industry as a Dancer, Model, Writer, and Musician. years later, his portfolio includes Acting, Producing, Publishing, and Fine Arts. Through his career as a multifaceted artist, Mr. Barajas has had the opportunity to work with a number of communities in which has opened doors for many emerging artists in all of their respective creative disciplines
In 2009, he had a special lifetime opportunity at such a young age to join a seminar in Silicon Valley with top executives, advisers, and mentors that taught him about the world of new emerging economies, disruptive technologies, and social enterprises that would shape the future of humanity.
Due to his generosity and work commitment, Ramon serves on a number of nonprofit boards, community groups, and business venture startups groups in the areas of Education, Technology, Media, Leadership, Arts & Culture, etc.
Some of his known achievements include becoming co-founder of #NextGenLeaders. A global movement developed to empower the youth and provide a platform to develop their communities through community organization, running for public office, and collaborating with other communities around the world, with the goal of building a better society.
Another of his known achievements include the establishment of International Multicultural Education Association, which later evolved into the STUDENTdirect Foundation. An organization founded to represent students and work toward developing a plan to advocate for education equality around the world, as well prepare students to become leaders in their respective fields, while embracing cultural diversity.
His current developments include multifaceted networks of pioneers, innovators, and creators that come together to connect, collaborate, and contribute to solving the problems facing our world today. This has evolved into the formation of several communities focused in such areas as new economies, disruptive technologies, alternative energy solutions, sustainable cities, community policing centers, etc. The overall objective of these communities is to interconnect as one as being able to work in cooperation to address such issues like education, health, economy, diplomacy, environment, etc.
Ramon has a gift for motivating, empowering, and leading others. He also has a strong ability to listen and work together with others to create the solutions that will make communities stronger and more prosperous.
Ramon hopes that this will inspire other young leaders to be the leaders that help the next generation overcome all obstacles and succeed as one.
