Adolescent Activist
My top 5 goals:
1.) Help LAUSD school's get a strong and stable arts program in schools all across LA. 2.) Inspire the youth of my community to get involved with civic engagement and know that their vote matters. 3.) Get more people socially aware of what is happening to our environment with climate change and its detrimental effects. 4.) Change the political system and demolish the corruption that it holds. 5.)Revolution!
My bio:
Lily Larsen is a 16-year-old activist and arts advocate. She has been participating in marches, protests, and petitions since she was 5 years old. She works to empower the youth of her community (South la) to get involved with civic engagement and activism of any kind. She was also the 1st member and co-founder of the Los Angeles Drama Club which is the country's youngest Shakespeare troupe and offers social justice infused Shakespeare classes to the youth of South LA for free.

Thank you for join our movement of change. I will schedule a meeting via here with our Secretary of Education Ms. Miriam Burbano, as well our Education Committee.
We look forward to seeing how we can work together in the current initiatives with bringing arts into schools, through our arts initiative community project known as The ARTIST District.
We also,will look to see how else we can work on other initiatives, and how we can get organized a campaign initiative and outreach to other schools and perhaps also work with the youth council of the city.
