My bio:
Founder, owner and creative director of The Narrative Dance Company, Daniel Seulkee Kim, has studied all the various art forms throughout his life in great detail as an attempt to combine them in new and exciting ways. As analytical as he is creative, he is and always was fascinated about the function of things, whether physical or abstract. The questions in his head ranged from the methods used to create explosions on screen to how ocular and olfactory nerves affect emotions to tried and true business strategies. Having studied all aspects of the arts industry including the much neglected “money matters” his knowledge and tenacity will help propel his company to unimaginable heights. The Narrative Dance Company is a multimedia dance theatre company with focus on storytelling and character development. Our VISION is to inspire unorthodox methods of storytelling using various disciplines while rejecting the mundane “norm”. Our MISSION is to combine DANCE, THEATRE, FILM, and MUSIC to create experiences often times impossible through single mediums alone and to invoke a sense of wonder, so lacking, in this unoriginal age.
